Aliva UK projects have scooped two prestigious awards in one week.
The UK leader in architectural won the architectural design prize in the Insulated Render Cladding Association (INCA) awards, for the second year running.
And Aliva’s Microsoft Dublin HQ project is 2018 winner of the European edition of the International Property Awards. It will go forward to compete on the world stage in the grand final in December.
Aliva won the INCA prize along with View Architects and contractor Joyner PA, for its work on the landmark Winter Gardens pavilion in Weston super Mare. Last year Aliva won the same prize for its work with AEW Architects on the Moneypenny Headquarters in Wales.
For the Winter Gardens project, Aliva delivered a clean, crisp façade in white Termok8 insulated render and ceramic cladding – featuring an innovative water-jet cut logo design.
For Microsoft Dublin, Aliva created a shimmering aluminium façade, using a ‘random’ pattern of four different shades of silver anodising with brushed and polished finishes. Bam Construct UK awarded the contract for the work to Gunn Lennon Facades (GLF) who selected Aliva’s Alucovering after careful review with RKD Architects.
Aliva UK Managing Director James Ormerod said:
We are so proud to have won these awards – along with our architectural and contractor partners – for two truly standout projects. Both are testimony to our top-quality architectural finishes and the flair and expertise of the Aliva UK team.”
